1. Introduction:
The reverse osmosis water treatment unit is an equipment to purify the saltine water to pure drinking water with the action of pressure difference of semi permeable membrane. 2. Stages of Filtration of underground water RO water treatment system
1). Sediment Stage: Removes rough particles, sand and rust.
2). Quartz sand stage: Lower the turbidity of feed water (NTU)and sludge density index (SDI) values
3). Carbon stage: Removes chlorine and chemicals which would otherwise damage the membrane.
4). Resin stage: Purolite ion-exchange.
5). Reverse osmosis stage: Removes dissolved solids and all that are bigger than water molecule.
