Steel-making process of converter is an oxdization process,and also a slagging process. Oxidative slag produced by per ton of steel is about 100kg~150kg. During tapping process, some highter oxidative slag comes into the ladle,resulted in lower grade of steel,molten steel pollution, steel phosphating, highter smelting cost, etc.
In order to reduce the converter slagging, to improve the cleanliness and quality of molten steel, we have overcomed a various of technical difficulties and developed the slag stopping plug with two national patents. This product achieves good effect after putting on the market.
