The Fiber-Glass-Reinforced Plastic Matrix Pipes (RPMP) adopt the reciprocating-cross-winding wet sand-adding process, and the structure of the RPMP wall consists of the inner liner, the structural layer, the sand-adding layer and the surface layer:
As to such structure, the inner and outer layers of the pipe wall are FRP layers, whose role is to ensure the strength and rigidity of pipe products. The internal pressure is borne by the FRP layer and the structural layer,while the external pressure is borne by the sand-adding layer and the structural layer, which can meet the performance requirements for buried underground pipelines.
