Curcumin from the ginger family, Araceae roots of some plants to extract a chemical composition, E100 orange-yellow crystalline powder, slightly bitter taste. Insoluble in water and ether. Curcumin has a lipid-lowering, anti-tumor, anti-inflammatory, choleretic, antioxidant and so on.
